Outfit Diaries: No.3

Happy Monday! Today's post is a round-up of my outfits from last week. It was my first week back in Delaware and my first week of the spring semester! As far as school weeks go, this one wasn't all that bad. I've enjoyed being back in the apartment with my roommates, and I'm lucky enough to have a few in-person classes. This semester I'm also taking my first fashion design class, and I anticipate it being the highlight of my sophomore year. As cheesy as it sounds, I got a little emotional while reading the textbook because the class material caters to my passions, and I've never been so eager to learn! Unfortunately, it was a particularly dreary and cold week, so I spent most of the week inside (hence the slippers).

I hope everyone has a great week!

FEBRUARY 13: Saturday

On Saturday, I took advantage of my infinite free time to relax and get some blog-related work done. I spent most of the day editing last week's post and drafting a future blog post. My roommates and I also celebrated Galentine's Day with a brunch of french fries and chocolate-covered strawberries!

FEBRUARY 14: Sunday

Valentine's Day! As expected, it was a mundane day. I started looking through the syllabuses for all my classes and filling in my planner (how romantic). Similar to Saturday, I also spent much of the day writing.

FEBRUARY 15: Monday

The first day of classes! I started the semester off with an in-person accounting class. It was nice to be back in the classroom after almost a year, but I will say, I spent most of that class readjusting my mask and trying to de-fog my glasses.

FEBRUARY 16: Tuesday

I started my day with an in-person class and then spent the rest of the morning reading textbooks in one of the student centers. Of all the things I missed about going to college pre-pandemic, studying in various locations around campus is near the top of that list.

FEBRUARY 17: Wednesday

Wednesday was and will continue to be the busiest day of the week. I have four hours of class, followed by skating. On this particular Wednesday, I also had to sandwich the career fair in between my classes. As many people have discovered during this working-from-home period, one of the benefits of a virtual career fair was dressing business on top and casual on the bottom. One of the downsides of a virtual anything; the internet crashed in the middle of it. So that was my luck on Wednesday.

FEBRUARY 18: Thursday

I woke up to snow...bleh. There is a reason I looked for schools further south. I do not enjoy the snow or freezing temperatures, so Thursday was somewhat of a disappointment. The dreariness also perpetuated my exhaustion at this point in the week.

FEBRUARY 19: Friday

Another gloomy day. However, I did go grocery shopping, which I always enjoy. My roommate and I also finished off the week with a movie night.
