Fall Capsule Collection
After weeks of longing for colder days, the humidity has finally left and every day feels like fall. As a result, my pink and navy summer wardrobe is slowly but surely being replaced by camel, black, and white. Neutrals are my staple palette for the colder months because they are simple, easy to style, and create effortlessly chic looks. Adding to my love for neutrals this year is my most recent inspiration, the French capsule wardrobe. I have spent the past few months studying the classic French girl style and falling completely in love with this trendless approach to fashion.
The essence of the Classic French style is a closet composed of staple items that can be styled for any occasion and are always the perfect balance of classic and modern. As a New Englander, it would be impossible for me to embody the innate style of the French. So instead, I have curated my version of a fifteen-piece capsule wardrobe; it's a little bit of Paris, a little bit of prep, and entirely perfect for fall.

The beauty of a capsule wardrobe comprised of neutrals is the endless possibilities of outfits. I believe capsule wardrobes, in general, represent a more cost-effective and sustainable way to shop. The pieces in this mini capsule can easily be dressed-up (if you are fortunate enough to have an excuse to go out right now) or dressed-down. Below are some of the ways I would style this wardrobe.
